2026 plan WIP

2026 WIP.

Mari Luukkainen
Summarize with AI:

2024 and 2025 have been about testing, breaking, rebuilding, and learning. We’ve pushed on employment pilots, internship programs, and tech experiments. Some of it worked. Some of it didn’t. All of it gave us data.

Now we’re starting to sketch 2026. No final plans, but these are the initial focus areas that look worth building on.

Future skills

Growth hacking (or test iteration process in general) has been our center skill. For 2026, we’re doubling down on AI and vibe coding. These will be the baseline tools for staying employable or employing yourself. Why? Because we believe that in every role in future, if you want to have/keep your job, understanding the capabilities and using it will have fundamental competitive advantage.

Access

We will diversify our accessibility and impact by bringing new ways of sharing information. It means that we are not scaling events up, but thinking about what other ways we can find people who need us. Tool here most likely is a podcast connected with live events and guests.

Clarity

Two years of iteration have taught us what Herizon actually is and what it is not. In 2026, we’ll cut the noise and show more directly what value and opportunities our community offers, based on our Blueprint.

Tech

HIP has been our testing ground for talent-company matching. Next: turning it into a recruiter tool small and medium companies can afford. For talent, the tool fast-tracks all users' experience from a 1-month hiring process to ~2weeks.

Research

Integration is not one-size-fits-all. A move from Norway to Finland is very different from a move from Nigeria. In 2026 we’ll launch a multidisciplinary project to map these differences and design tailored support that is also scalable.

HIP (UAS internships) expansion

Manual processes are now automated, which frees capacity. The goal is to onboard more schools and expand to vocational education partners. Universities remain out of scope, since they don’t face the same mandatory internship need, but we're open to opportunities if we find the right partner.
