What is the Herizon internship program?

A university-accredited internship program connecting international students at Finnish Universities of Applied Sciences with local companies. Students earn 15 ECTS credits through 400 hours of real work experience.

How does the matching work?

Students and companies register on our platform. Students complete work life orientation, our platform automatically tests competence, and connects interns with companies optimally based on skills and project needs.

The program runs on a rolling basis. When access is open, students and companies can join the platform and start the matching process at any time.

Which schools are part of the program?

We partner with Haaga-Helia, LAB, Metropolia, Arcada, HAMK, TAMK, Laurea, Turku AMK, and Centria Universities of Applied Sciences.

What does it cost for companies?

Matching is free. If you want to hire an intern after the program, there is a recruitment fee. Paying interns a salary or stipend during the internship is optional.

How long is the internship?

400 hours total, which can be spread over several months depending on the arrangement (full-time, part-time, remote, hybrid, or on-site).
