More people are landing jobs, our community is expanding, and new opportunities are opening up. This month, we’re rolling out changes to our internship programs, launching new tools, and welcoming more members into the network. Here’s what’s happening.
Metrics that matter

- Community members: Now at 1720, up from 1605 last month
- Employed members: Reached 649, up from 572 last month
- New jobs in 2025: 77 members have secured employment this year
- 50 members got jobs in January
- 27 members got jobs in February
- Economic impact:
- New jobs in 2025: Contributing to €231,000 in monthly salaries
- Total employment: Contributing to €1.95 million in monthly salaries, up from €1.71 million
Community activities
Upcoming company visits, recurring LinkedIn Boot Camp, and building community expertise.
- Community building panel: This panel will feature Supermetrics, Hive Helsinki, and Rovio experts who will discuss effective community management.
- Guest speaker: Erica Terranova, Head of Growth Marketing at Moomin Characters, shared insights on personal branding and job search strategies.
- LinkedIn Boot Camp: Monthly sessions focused on enhancing LinkedIn profiles and networking skills.
- Weekly meetups: Regular gatherings at Oodi Central Library for networking and support among community members.
- Company visits: Company visits with Intero, RELEX Solutions, Yousician, and IQM are scheduled for Q2.

Product/Service updates
Updates on new tools and program iterations.
- Internship model expansion: We're running cohort-based internships this spring before transitioning to a cohort-less, on-demand model, allowing all students in the University of Applied Sciences to participate.
- Growth Hacking Internship Relaunch: We're bringing back the two-month paid internship for non-students, which was successful in 2020-2021, due to renewed demand.
- Labour Market Insights (Työmarkkinadata) Beta: Early adopters are onboarding, with plans to start sharing key data points soon.
- Platform integration: We're building an architecture for a comprehensive employment platform to connect all Herizon software and activities on one platform.
