While a heatwave struck Finland on Monday, things have been heating up at Herizon throughout the entire summer! Our activities in July have been nothing short of impressive, with insightful survey findings, a launch of our mentorship program, and a steady flow of new job opportunities. 🔥 Read on, friend!

Voices of the International Talent in Finland -survey results are out!

We felt a strong need to gain a deeper understanding of the job-seeking experience of international talent in Finland (and how the newly proposed regulations would reflect on them.) In addition we sought to find avenues for supporting our international talent on their journey to integrate and get employed.

The survey is divided into three themes: Experiences and Opinions on Finland Government's New Immigration Policies, Seeking jobs in Finland and Working in Finland. (+ Herizon's recommendations for the Government and employers.)

We want to thank all the 147 people who took their time to share their experiences.

The power of mentorship

There is power and transformative potential in mentorship and the impact that sharing knowledge can bring. Therefore, with excitement, we announce the launch of the Herizon Mentorship Program, designed exclusively for our community members.

Our handpicked mentors (12 in total now!), representing various fields, are here to guide our community members through their job search journey in Finland or their early steps in the Finnish work industry.

🎤 Our founder Mari is invited to speak at Diversify Nordics Summit in Oslo on 29th of September.

Investor of the Year in the Nordic Women in Tech Awards 2022 and Diversity Role Model of the Year in the Nordic Startup Awards 2023... the list keeps on going. We're thrilled that Mari continues to spread the important message of diversifying the tech scene in the Nordics, and in September, she will have the opportunity to step onto a stage in Oslo and share her message.
